There is nothing wrong with reporting bugs. The more people report it, the likelier it will get fixed sooner. :)

Sounds like a major bug. No such ads here on Android, maybe this is a specific ad problem. I must mention I got a similar problem on Android a couple of years ago. (again in the summer) The game ad with issues was Fable Town. They fixed it some months later.
