Day 3 with no lives

I’m at the end of the game so I only play the group challenges until new games show up. I’m able to send lives and do every time I use up all my lives, however, I’m not receiving any. The app is up to date. I play on my iPhone. I saw another player having the same issue. If I delete the app and reinstall, will I go back to the beginning? I don’t really want to do that. I guess my only other option is to play a lot less.🤷‍♀️
