Taking more than five lives at a time?

Why if I have 20 lives, I click to use 5, and then it comes back with like 3 or something less than it should have, it takes more than 5 lives at a time.Why? Does this happen to anyone else? Thanks for your help in advance.

this has been an issue for months - there’s a long thread above about it. The studio claim to be working on it but we get no updates and nothing changes - except more players having this and other issues. 🤷‍♀️
