Why do players take a tile blocking a line but never actually play?

I donāt understand why players who are obviously not playing even appear in the algorithm.
Hi the reason the board doesn't become available for us to rejoin before 24hrs is because of the lots of time difference amongst our players
If there was a process to clear the board after 24hrs it would mean a new board and we would all start again as with the amount of different boards live across all players make the logistics impossible to remove thousands and thousands of players individually š
I would prefer tiles not completed were released within one hour. If youāre not going to complete a tile within an hour - donāt pick a tile. Itās also frustrating to constantly get the āyou havenāt picked a tile yetā pop-up when we cannot select a tile for 20 or more hours. Sigh.
I think itās on purpose too! If the game can control playing only two tiles a day then they should be able to release tiles that havenāt been played for 24 hours.
It's exactly what I've been telling you, it's a very extreme frustration not to be able to continue doing your challenges because of the participants who only take up tokens and don't finish them.... For example, I started my challenge on Tuesday 03:55 am and I finished it yesterday Thursday, so you can't.

I'm raged about a creature who hold a game for 48 hours. I played two tiles of the day and I can't play anymore for today. Creature took the tile in the line I play and hold it for 24 hrs. Then just when I'm ready to play she finishes tile and take the last one and hold it for another 24 hours. That is on purpose and it's mean rotten.
Yes, many team missions in games are like this. You must have also encountered the situation of establishing two connections, but both were blocked and could not be completed. In the end I could only finish the third line and I wasn't going to be defeated.
unfortunately there are many more frustrating games than games where the board clears quickly. Too many players donāt care about it being a team game.

I am unable to see boosters on the bottom of my screen. This started several weeks ago. Is there a setting to correct this?
