Thanks, everyone, for the comments. As of today, my ads are back for now, but I don't think I can safely rely on them for the near future. I might take a break anyway to reduce the chance of further shenanigans.

I've noticed that ads are more likely to glitch out when I watch a lot of them in a short period of time. When the Champions Race ads glitched for me, I had watched ads for extra moves to pass the final level of the episode. EDIT: Welp, speak of the devil. It seems that ads for extra moves are completely gone from my game.…

Level 4,386 here - ever since the game gave me ads, I've always had the option to watch ads for extra gold bars. There was exactly one time where the ad glitched and caused me to forfeit the extra gold bars.
