It sounds like your app is not connecting to the internet. You can also try signing out of your account within the app and back in to see if that helps

This happens to me too. Unfortunately features can be glitchy and this one in particular doesn’t always work.

You can always start over by making a new account with a new email address :)

Be sure to try clicking on your avatar image, and also checking the Settings options under the cog. Shouldn't be too hard, cheers :)
