They marked some of the Nightmarishly Hard levels (the nastiest of them) as Legendary, but the boards are the same.

The trick is to match reds on your first move and set off purple stripe on your second move to hit the wrapped candy. The wrapped candy explosion will remove some frosting so that new candies can fall from the top. Making different starting moves leads to automatic loss.

Use the color bomb dispensers. Whenever a color bomb drops, detonate it with the candy of the same color as the frog to feed it.
