Have you done any troubleshooting yet? Might also be a good idea to state what iPad you have as there are a few models knocking around.

Yeah I imagine there is a limit put in place, especially since those lives aren't being requested in the first place. It could also be that they have full lives at that point.

On the desktop, do you play through Facebook or do you have the game app installed? The version for PC and Mobile and tablet aren't the same so there should be no correlations between them, they require different troubleshooting.

Check that you've got the latest update installed. If the the paint brush and can still appear after than then it's still in progress.

If you've connected to Facebook then it will always use your profile picture from, you can change that. If you had another avatar before then you were probably connecting to Kingdom instead. It should go back to your black cat avatar once your disconnected from Facebook and reconnected to Kingdom.

Have you gone into the store directly to see if the update is available? If your on Kindle, I'm not sure if that update has gone out yet. It's generally Android first, followed by iOS and then the rest follows.
