Just to let anyone know who may also come across this problem, I was able to resolve the issue by forwarding my phone's clock a few weeks, and then resetting the clock back to normal date. This must have reset the clock used to time the fairies, as they now appear on my neighbors houses like they normally would. 

Hi Combo, I checked my connection to face book and yes it's definitely connected. I've yet to have any issues connecting to FB, or any other problems besides the fairies not showing up.
