Well it's certainly not something available to everyone yet. I've tried it every single time that any special candy is on my board and it does nothing to double tap it or do anything else other than make a regular match. So I'll believe it's a thing when I see it. :P

Yeah I think I'm going to just stop playing until this event is over. It's ridiculous and not fun in any way. Glad it's not just me!

I've been trying it on every single one now and so far I haven't been able to get it to work. I made sure I'm updated as well but it doesn't seem like it's something available to me (yet).

Also, it's not that reshuffling makes it feel like the moves are wasted. When the only one move available is at the very top of the screen and it doesn't set off a chain it is wasted. And when that happens again after reshuffling it's wasting multiple moves. I get it that the game is designed to try to convince you to…

@QueenB I just attempted to tap a striped candy to set it off and it's doing nothing. Is this a new mechanic that is being released soon? It doesn't appear possible at the moment.
