i keep collecting bars and on my home screen I have 30
but when I want to spend them to extend my game it says I have 0
i did already use my bars however I have still been collecting which is why my home page says 30

The 30 you may be seeing at the top may be your piggy bank.  You would need to purchase the piggy bank to access those. More info on the piggy bank can be found here.
