What happened to extra life rewards?

For a while quest/level/map rewards sometimes included extra lives. This was a most welcome addition. 

But it they seem to have stopped?  Is it just me?

I’d sure like to see the extra lives reward come back!

Yes, True!!  An extra life popping out as gift from the Reward Boxes was indeed a great feature  
It is currently on hold now as they are trying to make it better... because  many players said that "the extra life" is being wasted when we have full set of lives in the game!!  We will see it again in near future
