Why am I loosing lives and boosters?

since the last update if I back out of the level tells me I failed and takes away my life and the boosters i used

this needs to be fixed to what it was before, if you didn't make a move you did not fail

By any chance, are you talking about the "new change" in the original Candy Crush Saga game?  
  
If so, with regards to the new change, apparently the feature we were having till now was kind of a glitch, and is fixed now, hence the commotion!!  Please check this link created by the Candy Crush Saga Community Manager...
