@DieOmimi @MountainMom I think this is a good idea. I have this Rachel, and have not had a new costume or the ability to earn one that I haven't got for such a long time now, it makes the game rather stale.
If it where possible it would be a great idea for the game designers to have a seasonable collection of all previous characters when there is one of these events that we could select which character we wanted to earn, giving all of us (except those that have all the characters ever created) to opportunity to earn a new character. The event would run exactly the same, only we could choose which character we wanted before playing the event.
As previously mentioned for example, it would have been fun to have the chance to earn a rainbow character during Pride month.
