Of all the games I play online this is the only game I have never received a life from anyone on friends list. I send them when requested but I have never received one back. This has been for over a year now. Is it a glitch or what? Any ideas ?

@DieOmimi Now I got it... I just didn't know, I needed to be fully loaded with all 5 lives before being able to help friends with a life - so just did it and will remember this going forward. Thanks for your help again.
@DieOmimi No sadly enough the screen is always empty - it only says " Ask a friend for lives" ... picture is in Danish as I'm living in Denmark :)
Hi @BettinaRick, if you click on the heart (the symbol for Leven in the game), can you see someone in your friends list there?

I really wish the "asking friends for lives" would work much better than now. No one as in NO ONE are sending lives back and strangely enough... I actually never receive a notice from anyone asking for lives. I guess this function isn't working at all - Is it? Or at least... How does is work?

The functionality for asking a friend for lives was recently updated, but we are having limited success with players responding to such requests. Typically, when you request lives, the list of players to choose from is a group made up of random players and possibly one or more players you recognize. You are not able to request lives in this community -- you can only do so in the game. Even when you send requests to everyone on your default list, you will be lucky if anyone responds. I receive requests from the same 1-3 players fairly frequently and I always send lives. Unfortunately, there is no way to choose the players you want to be on the list at this time.

@einna37, I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, there is no way to select Friends except in Dachs Delivery Service teams. But, these teammates may or may not appear in the list when you request lives. I have only one player who regularly requests lives from me, and I always send lives to that player even though I don't know who it is. I wish you could be so lucky.
Situation is still the same. I request lives constantly from friends list but have never got one from anyone. I get requests to send lives. how do I add more friends ? Or add team members as friends ?
Hi thanks for reply. I do check only when I’m out of lives, but never have got any sent to me. I only get a request for lives very rarely

The functionality for sending and receiving lives in Candy Crush Friends recently got updated, but may require additional "tweaks". I have received many requests for lives since that upgrade. These requests appear when I click on the heart icon near my lives counter. I always send lives when requested.
Similarly, when I need lives, I can click on the "+" sign near my lives counter. I can see lives sent by friends. This may only work when you have less than 5 lives.
I recognize this player, but lives can also be received from "random" players.
We are all hoping for more robust sending and receiving functionality in this game.
