@BarbaraYager, if you don't have the event in your game yet, you're not in the group of players who get a Thanksgiving event. I didn't have it until last Friday (I should have had the announcement of the event). I immediately complained to the support (about settings, question marks directly in the game and selection of events). Late Monday afternoon, I suddenly had the event in my game.
It may be too late today (Tuesday) for a complaint. You can still try.
We here in the community don't know which players will be selected for events. We only know that about 85 - 90 percent of players get an event.

Yay! I am so happy as finally Friendsgiving Event appeared on this game now! Then I have passed all of Friendsgiving Event's Levels and Star Chaser then I got Rachel Cinnamon now! I love Rachel Cinnamon! She is so beautiful! β€οΈπ
I have used one lollipop hammer only then I can make colour bomb + colouring candy to complete on super tricky level 8 and 10. I complete another levels without using boosters and extra moves (except Level 8 & 10) on Friendsgiving Event possible! Thank you! YA! βπ
This event has glitches. Happened to me too the screen didnt move to next frame i lost a life and boosters
I have the event but right now Iβm having an unfortunate hard time because level 6 is glitching on me twice basically the section is supposed to move after clearing out octopuses. Well it locked on me after I completed the first section with plenty of turns left, then when I tried again after I cleared the second section with plenty of turns to get through the third once again locked out I just let support know about this and even sent photo proof
