Happening AGAIN. I have had three announcements for upcoming games. Bubblegum troll, valentines day, and another one. After the first announcment, once I exit the game and restart it, they are gone and did not start. Fix it again, please. You would think after the number of times this has occurred, the developers would have and idea of how NOT to keep breaking this.

Looks like this have been happening off and on for a while now. It happened to me this morning. I got out of the game, went back and the Valentine and Bubblegum challenge disappeared. Haven't come back since. I didn't even get to play the cookie challenge b/c that disappeared. My sweet streak disappeared.. character's voices been gone since last October…I don't remember having this many problems before. What is going on here?!
It is definitely NOT you. For the number of times this has happened, you would think the developers would at least test things before they issue a update.
Thought it was just me. This morning the valentine's day challenge appeared, but once i opened my app again it was gone. I also had an announcement for the bubblegum troll but that is now gone too. I have the game on android and on windows and it happened on both.
Same. This just happened to me too. I got out to check the most recent updates on my Google play store, went back in and both the Valentines challenge and bubblegum challenge disappeared. I never got to play the cookie challenge b/c that disappeared altogether.
Characters voices have been gone since last October...Challenges have been disappearing left and right...What the heck is going on here??
Update: Said BGT event also disappeared after doing daily quests within same boot up.
Here is a different case: For the full duration I have the delivery, but a Cookie Cup and a Valentine Nutcracker events disappeared before they can start. Now there is a Halloween Bubblegum Troll event announced, so it's unlikely a connection problem.
