Havent got any previous or new events? Why?

Hi been playing this game for ages near level 761 and I don’t get any of the special events or char or even see them but my mates has all the time. Feel left out

Hi user id is 1391226852. Apple iphone x and app is always up to date. Im on level 761 and I have been playing it for a nearly a year. My friends all get these different events for characters and even allow to refil lives to watch an ad but i never seen any of these things before. =(
