Game isn't responding even after troubleshooting steps

Hi i'm on level 1508 on candy crush friends. It tells me to select a character to play but the screen is empty and there's nothing for me to select. It also won't let me click play.
I've tried turning on and off my game, logging out, deleting and re-installing the app but nothing works.

I would really appreciate it if someone can help as I currently can't play my game at all!

Hi @watermelon1 - welcome to our friendly community! I’m sorry to hear you’ve had this issue. Please confirm what device you play the game from (pc or mobile and what type) and what your user ID is so I can ask our CM to look into this on Monday. Unfortunately they are off for the weekend so we will have to be a little patient until they are back in the office.

Hi sorry for late reply, I’ve completely missed the notification for this message.

It’s on my mobile and it’s iPhone 11. My user ID is 10974457132. I’ve just upgraded my game today but the issue still persists. I can’t play my game.
