I'm pretty sure superchargers came into the game late 2024. They were around long enough for me to get very hooked on them before I suddenly stopped getting them in late February 2025 when I reached the end of the map.

But I think you are right that there are still a few levels out there like that, so you need to be careful of that, especially if trying to maintain a win streak. What level are you on? I stopped getting them when I reached the end of the map. That was over 4 months ago.
