This really is a bit of a bug-bear of mine about this game. Apart from having to scroll through all previous levels and areas, it then takes you right back to your current level after playing one earlier level. That is annoying because when I'm stuck, I like to play earlier levels, one after another, to get some enjoyment…

* I have been having the same issue. In all my other 3 Candy Crush games, I always both send and receive lives every time I play, and lots of other times during play I always receive lives back but have not had ONE SINGLE LIFE gifted back to me. I've been thinking that this is odd. Is there any reason?

Although, obviously, I'd much prefer to receive them free, I actually understand charging for something you don't need to be able to play the game and progress. These games are free to download, play, receive regular updates…
