I found you can click your back (<) button on your phone and it will go back to whatever screen you were on before the Candy Royal screen popped up.

I just had to keep trying and finally got the last one, but it was really annoying. I felt cheated.

And I've noticed sometimes when I have a moved lined up for special candies, the special candies do not form!! This is so aggravating!
