Adding or inviting friends is blank

I'm using FB on PC and there are no friends listed, and can't invite anyone. It appears that others are having similar problems ... I can't even mark that I have the same problem (rather than me opening a new question).

Any help to resolve the problem would be appreciated.

You need to give the app permission to access your friends list. If you didn't when you first played the game then delete the app from Facebook and add it again (your progress will be saved).
