Progress lost with corrupt iTunes backup

My original question was: "I was on level 146 when iTunes told me I had a corrupted backup and now I'm back to level 1."
Cezdiamond responded "I have sent you a private message, please click on the envelope icon in the top right hand corner of your screen". I cannot locate this message. Please advise. Thanks again!

Yeah on PC that's where it'll come up, on Mobile and Tablet format you should find it by tapping the left hand menu.
