Allen not working (Confirmed fixed by the Studio)!

We've straighten Allen up now so he should be adding your rewards in to your game.

You need to make sure you have the latest game app version installed as well!

Hello, my Allen is not working its been couple of weeks now.

So the fact that I had him the whole time until this issue arose means I was just a "chosen one" before? I uninstalled and reinstalled my game losing everything (before I saw that I should not do this) and when I started playing levels again, saw the screen showing how I "should" get him, but you are saying he only randomly shows up for some people? That is a clever way to not fix a bug.

@ica_kruse, it sounds like you might not have access to Allen event this time 😟

Special events and extra features are available only during specific time frames and only for randomly chosen groups of players and devices from time to time.

If you do not see this special event in your game at the moment then rest assured it'll be coming your way soon in the future!

We'd like to reassure you that sometimes you'll have features which other players do not, so we try to make sure you won't miss out on the fun.

I'd love to be able to manually add this feature to your game, but I'm afraid here, we have no control over how these groups are selected or chosen.

I understand this might not be appreciated by all our players, but our Game Studios are constantly testing new features and concepts and we believe that this is the best way for us to improve our games, challenges and gaming elements in the future.

Update this morning and Allen is back! Good to see him working after 3 weeks without him. Needed a manual update today.

So it will be a different version from 2.26.9? Just want to be sure what is waiting for monday.

OK guys, the Studio has confirmed that the release has been sent out to the different App stores so it looks like it hasn't been approved yet and should be available on Monday.

We apologies for the misunderstanding and I'll keep you all up to date on Monday when I know for sure the release has been approved and available in the Store.

For me, Allen is still not there. Here is my app version.

In this case @ScottieCat, you will have to wait for the release to be available on the App store as we're unable to push updated to specific devices.

I realise that, usually the game updates automatically, Google Play doesn't work with Kindles, have kept looking in Amazon App store but no updates there, and I don't want to lose all my bars Tec, which I have paid for. You have my ID, anything you can do your end?

What @klorgus just did to the device, is what I wanted to recommend next as @ScottieCat, your game app is not update so you need to make sure yui have version 2.26.9. installed.

Went to Google Play to manually check for updates, and restarted again and finally Allen works. I have Google Play set for automatic updates but I had to force update to make this finally work!

Can you all do me a favor and post a screenshot of the app version you have installed showing that you have v2.26.9. installed so I can report his back to the Studio?

The same thing is happening to me! It's so upsetting, Allen's journey is the one thing that makes this game the most fun!

Same here. All weekend Allen has not been giving me my rewards. Same as the Plant that gives you daily boosters, they just disappear instantly.

Same here...Allen flies by and waves like he's giving me my rewards but they don't appear. This has been happening since Aug 15. I emailed King customer service but have not heard back from them.

Hi,

I know other people have this problem recently, but I just wanted to say that I also have this issue. Basically, when I win a jelly crush level Allen comes and says I’ve got a reward, and then on the next level he goes through the actions of throwing the rewards on the game board, but nothing appears. I’m play on an iPad mini air 4, updated to the latest update ( iOS 12.4). Does anyone know the reason why this is happening right now?
