Jelly lock

How many times does it take to pop the jelly lock when completely closed? Mine takes 4. Nothing happens on the first hit. It use to be 3. It just started happening one day and has been going on for months. So I'm just wondering if it was an intentional change or a glitch. If it's a glitch I would think it would be resolved by now.

Purple squares in place of rivals in the jelly race
so I’ve been recently getting this strange bug after the game loads as instead of seeing rivals on the jelly race banner I’m seeing purple squares instead and it’s getting stressful I don’t known what to do my app is updated and connection is solid
