Why does every single game require a purchase?

I have been playing Candy Crush Jelly for many YEARS and since Covid, it seems that the fun has stopped because almost every game requires the purchase of tokens and game pieces. I am in the realm of 4378 and as an example, only one game in the last five could be won without a purchase. Games cannot be won with the options afforded an ordinary person. I can't afford to buy! Some games end up requiring 20 extra moves before winning and that is because one has to buy the extra moves in order to move to the next level. CRAZY! SAD! FRUSTRATING! Why can't you make levels that are fun where players can proceed to levels without having to pay for extra moves.

You are exactly right. It’s now a pay to play game. I’m on level 9983 so at the end and you can’t win without extra moves. I’ve also played many years but usually was first to finish the race. Not anymore. I will no longer buy extra moves and will probably have to quit playing. I won’t be the only one and maybe they’ll adjust it back so you can actually win and move forward again.
