My iPad pro will not display candy crush jelly in landscape mode. That leaves me two choices, get another protective cover I can readily access in portrait mode or stop playing jelly. Guess what my choice will be?
I can confirm that iPhone 6S Plus has only portrait mode as of 2/21/2016.
I tried it on my phone. Same as iPad. Pic, there is no switching between landscape and portrait. I wil just stop playing the dumb game until it is changed. But thanks for your trying.

I'm guessing it's only really an issue with Tablet's since there's so big compared to Mobiles, that's probably why there aren't more people posting the same thing.
Problem not solved. I'm really surprised that more are not commenting.
It does seem strange that it's not included in this version of Candy when it's in the others. It could also be limitation due to the design of the game and the way it's been made.
What is going on with level 235. Supposed to collect orange, but no orange, and as soon as you drop to next level, NOTHING!! Literally nothing, to allow you to continue playing.
