Illegal Move 💯💥💥
Clearly this is an illegal move, but it also freezes the game. I don't want to disconnect, I will lose my win streak. But what is a person to do? I have been stuck here for about 15 minutes. Normally I would disconnect, I play the 24 hour play so it's not like I am losing a ticket, but when it comes to my streak, especially how hard it is to put together one these days, I don't want to disconnect. As you can see they only have one move left, I have two and one of those moves is a hammer and the score is just a two point difference.

Illegal move means that your opponent is disconnected, but not leaving the game, closing app! If opponent leaves the game closing the app, then a message appears saying that this happened!
So, an illegal move appears when your opponent "leaves" the game because some connection problem! I suppose it is a memory issue, that gives to your opponent the message "no internet connection" and gives an illegal move to your side!
The message "your opponent left the match" appears again, if I am not mistaken!
It never happened to me to have frozen game after an "illegal" move by my opponent!

Of course, you know my response to using gold bars to keep a streak was "lose streak." Maybe if it was that sort of streak, I would be more susceptible to hit that "keep your streak" option. I will continue to buy gold bars to play 24 hours, and if (🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾) they bring back the option to buy boosters and blockers, I will spend even more money! I truly want that option to come back! I still have 10 cupcake and 11 fishnet blockers and I won't be using those any time soon!!
