Chocolate Bomb / Coloring Candy Combo

Is it normal for the 5 hit blockers to reduce down to a one hit blocker after a chocolate bomb/coloring candy combo? Never noticed it before and that seems to be the case in level 508 and 509. The tiles stay identified as a 5 hit blocker, yet disappear after one hit for the rest of the game after a rainbow jenny.

I've played the level but haven't had any issues when the boosters went off.
Please post a video on how it looks when you play the level - I think that would make it easier to pause and see what's going on.

Good idea combo. Above is a a video of 508. After I get the rainbow jenny combo, all the multi hit blockers disappear after one hit from either a fish or a direct hit. Even though they still have all the layers displayed. It does not do that after any other combo.
