The only way to add friends in Jelly, is with facebook! If Jelly is connected to facebook, then all your fb friends who play Jelly, are automatically added to your Jelly friends list!
There is not now any in-game way to add friends.

I think there should be a way to add friends NOT from Facebook. You can do it in Candy Crush Soda, so I think there should be an easy way to link up with JUST "Candy" players. I have a ton of friends and they do not play all "Candy" games. I think ots kind of unfair that if our friends on Facebook don't play, then you are basically saying "so sorry, but that's the only way. Not everyone on Facebook plays games. Why should we be hindered trying to make friends on an individual game when our FB friends have no interest. Please help us with this. It would make game play more fun....I love these games, I just wish I could make friends. Thank you!
