I'm still way down in the pre-1000s and it's weird how much easier it seems. Keep in mind there's still levels with 6-7 different colors as well… It seems when they stopped making levels above 5 colors the game immediately started to get harder. I'm glad I'm not seeing the same 20-something move count on literally every…
Revert it to the old version while you're at it. 5+ colored levels need a bit more representation lol. Plus it was easy to get 3 stars in that version too.
@Spinnifix I agree. Soda's easily the best out of the 4 main candy crush games right now. Lots of boosters given out, and I never feel stuck for way too long. Plus Soda feels the least broken and buggy, somehow even less than the original game, haha
@JohnnyCC Yep. Just played. It hasn't been changed. it's weird how unresponsive they are now. They made level 494 easier to pass after I made a complaint here about it's difficulty and that was a year ago too. I guess star scores aren't as high of a priority to them which is understandable, but still.
I have noticed also that they've decided to stop doing the crazy mobile-release move reductions, at least not as intensely as before. Now, their strategy seems to start the levels off with low moves for the Windows release, then slowly increase them in the coming weeks. I have noticed they make levels above 35 moves much…
I came back to say this. Why is there a hazelnut on the post when they've been long-gone for at least 2 years now ? It feels like the team is well aware everyone wants the game to go back to its roots and you're messing with us.
I can say with confidence that there is no difference between W10 releases and the mobile one a week later. You no longer get more moves on windows 10. I've compared screenshots of levels a week later and this indeed ended up being the case.
I don't understand why all the level music is geared to specific level types. It doesn't make sense to me. Any level type could and should play any track. That would mean more level themes would be able to be added into the mix, and we wouldn't hear nothing but the mixed level theme in the later levels.
@JJ09012011 Candy bombs are in the process of getting replaced by a new version which spawns crystal candies when they reach 0, called "crystal countdowns". They're in testing currently and if they become official I think they will come to the new levels as well.
So it seems like the new music has returned but the old sound effects have remained. Are the old sounds here to stay because I much prefer them over the ones tested a couple months ago? @QueenB ?
@Doondie Ever since they repeated the episodes on the current map, it's looked like an absolute trashfire. This new map at least gives the repeating episodes some sort of personality.
If they truly are discontinued, I find it very dumb that the team is being so quiet about it. Why not tell us that the magic shuffler and Power Pops are scrapped if they are? They told us they discontinued F5 and Royal championship in Jelly saga, so why not these features.
