Not seen it at all thankfully - not a fan of these takeovers - distracting and pointless but since I can't / won't play anymore due to various gameplay changes (LANDSCAPE!!! / Candy Royal), its irrelevant to me.

A proper test (if it really is one) would have an obvious and easy way to give feedback -many of us have stopped playing but with so many players how could they even notice playing pattern changes - plus there will be many more who just play less or just simply dislike it, but put up with it.

I had already changed my review to one star and have just edited it again to emphasise the reason for the low rating. I then went through other reviews on the game and if they mentioned landscape/portrait,marked them as helpful in the hope it brings them to the top (couldn't work out the order of the reviews inGoogle play…

So no one is really listening because they are about to push the few people who still have landscape mode to portrait anyway, regardless of any complaints. Sounds about right - King ignoring player feedback (day 3 not playing).

not just iPad players - I have an Android Tablet and they've done it to us as well - these devices are too heavy to hold in portrait mode for many of us - but they don't seem to care.

So in summary, it's confirmed that it's "deliberate", it's our "hard luck", we have to just "get used to it", all so they can add (so called) "good things in the future" But it seems to ignore that we won't see these "good things" if we are not playing !! BTW I ignore most of the so called "good things" - I play(ed) Candy…
