Just tested, the x30 multiplier works in Star Tournament levels, may be just give it a try for a day, still 67 hrs to go.

New Candy Royale released today. It's Double Candy Royale AND YES, X option restored. But real miserable share, 48 bars to share with 20 other players for completing 14 levels at 1st try. Well slightly more than winning the Champions Race.

Top Climber (pink candies) starting Although it shows in the pic reward baskets for #2  climbers, this may be an error, as the actual leader board only shows reward for the #1 only. Giving this a miss, with the x30 multiplier for new levels again.

@Scooterpie , I had the same surprise waiting for me, the Champions Race flag waving at the corner. So I decided to play the new levels, to complete the Nostalgia Tour, Gold Rush as well, now taking a break after the 25th level (would have continued to complete the 2nd episode, but the flag disappeared, no inducement toβ¦

Just saw another player posted a different version, much lower amount of gold bars to be spent, should have waited, spent 105 to get 32 rebate

I've tested this event, and reported here earlier on. I spent on purchases of boosters (striped brushes, lately I have found them to be rather useful, in combinations with color bomb or wrapped candy). #1 : 400 gold bars, got my boosters +25 gold bars, #2 : another 150 (ie topped up to 550), got boosters I want + anotherβ¦

Rest assured it's not you PC problem, mine has changed too, and quite a few others too, going by the comments in Discussion here. Looks like the game developer is testing a new feature.
