Might be the minority opinion there. At least a workaround exists; we now have a party booster farm (new level candy tasks are still an obstacle; I have avoided every such new level colors task it throws at me.)

There is an advanced ruling, that on a turn where licorice swirls has been cleared, no new licorice swirls may enter the board. This is not included in the frequency and quantity table of element spawns.
