It’s not only in the event folder for me. When I first open the app, it pops up automatically, and I have no way to get out of it. Anybody else hate Candy Royale making you hit continue three times to get past it? I don’t see any way to skip it or get out of it? Having to hit continue three times makes me feel like king is just wasting our time or trying to condition us to hit continue, like it’s some subconscious effort to get us to buy boosters?…

the user that stopped at 240 extra moves was so close to the max. You were right it is Capped at 255 moves as the max additional moves you can get for not passing a level.
