Hey there! Seems like there was a miswriting in the text there - the "badge" referred to the icon next to your name - not one of the community badges that you can collect or request. Before the big update to the community we had these badges looking icons for Pro Player, Noble etc - but they are text labels now.

So it has been updated. In general the Pro Player role hasn't been updated in a while so some of the information has been a bit outdated - if you'd rather have it removed and have the regular names like Noble, Royal, Legend etc let me know!

Is anyone actually trying to fix this issue for me?

I have no idea what this new badge is.

I have been a pro player for over a year ☹️🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for sharing this in any case @BQN537, we'll continue to investigate this and see if there's anything that we can do on our end with the notifications. We have reported some of these as a bugs and they are getting looked into, so I can't promise anything for now but we'll continue to see if we can improve it!

Thank you for your reply @LoFiGummy I know that the old platform had a lot of custom parts that constantly needed fixing and change isn't always easy. But this really isn't an improvement with the new Reply that has been added, although from all the responses from Community Managers it appears it's here to stay. I appreciate that even though you, QueenB and others are Community Managers you won't actually have any control over the new platform, as such, you just have to go with the flow.

But as an example I was scrolling down Discussions and saw you had made a comment in this thread at 8.57am this morning. Clicked on the thread, but no comment seen, then had to scroll to look for it and saw it was a response to BQN5371 on a post they had put on 25th November. They have now replied to your post but it doesn't appear you will be able to reply to that with the Reply, as the Replies seem to have run out, so what happens now. It's messy, jumbled and unnecessary. So I'm sorry I don't think the Reply will feel clearer and more intuitive for me and I will never use it.

And while typing this I kept trying to add bits in between what I'd already put and the cursor kept moving to a different space. Oh well 🤞it will all get sorted at some stage.

I understand the changes can feel frustrating, especially when you’re used to how things worked before. The old platform had a lot of custom parts that we constantly needed to fix, and it limited our ability to add improvements or new things. With the update, we finally have a system that we can build on more easily and reliably behind the scenes.

Right now our priority is making sure everything runs smoothly and fixing the biggest issues. After that, we’re hoping to bring in new features and fun additions to improve the overall experience.

Regarding replies:

The “ ” button is the Quote function, which lets you include someone’s message in your reply.
The regular Reply option responds directly to the post.

This difference wasn’t visible before, but now it is. Once notifications are fully fixed, the Reply should feel clearer and more intuitive.

Hi @LoFiGummy with regard replies, Reply is shown quite clearly at the bottom of every post for a Subthread in bold. Why have they disguised the way we reply linking the post we want to reply to? All it shows is two eyes. Yes some of us having a practice found it, but how many newcomers to the Community would know it's there, I would say none looking at many of the untidy, muddled up threads.

Couldn't that be changed to show Reply as well. Or better still show it as Reply and take away the Subthread reply which really isn't necessary and is a step backwards to what we used to have.

It has been mentioned many times @rebelchild that the Subthread reply doesn't send notifications without a tag and there does still seem to be time lag problems sending posts and receiving notifications, guess it's going to take a long time to get sorted 🙄

And you are right @BQN537Why did they have to change the older version of the forum when it was completely fine 🤔 This was meant to be better, but personally I can't see one thing that's better 🙈

I just tried to click on the notification that you mentioned me in this thread and I got the usual message saying that I don’t have permission blah blah. ☹️

As for the notifications, we recommend everyone to go through their notifications too to check if everything is to their liking. We know that there are issues with not seeing comments responses - we've reported this as a bug and it's being looked into.

Tagging @rebelchild & @christinewupp here as well for the visibility on the comment notification issue.

Hi @rebelchild . A while ago some of us here found that when using this reply option without tagging no notifications were sent. Therefore you need to always tag now if you use this method of reply. Carot-38 pointed out that the old method of replying does still exists, which is the symbol looking like a " at the right top of each post on the same line where the time is next to your name. If you use this old reply function I think we do get the notification, but if you reply in a subthread like this one nobody knows about it. So I used the tag here myself. I hope it worked.

Since this new update I have been getting emails that are 1 to 2 days old.

If I want to look at something I have to go to the home page and just look to see if anyone has posted something new.

To actually see your comment I had to go to the Candy Crush Saga home page and click under my bookmarks just to get it to open. Very frustrating and annoying.

I know I am definitely not getting all the notifications.

Hi Jack @BQN537 I feel I'm not getting tags either. It's very time consuming going into every thread to see if anything is going on. I feel I'm missing alot of events. Very frustrating. I don't think that by responding to someone's comment alerts them like it used to.

Do we need to actually tag them in the response for them to see it?

When I try to scroll down just to read people’s posts it keeps on jumping back to the last post that I had in all of the threads. So I can’t just sit back and enjoy reading the comments like we could on the previous forum that we had. I feel really isolated.☹️

Thanks @LoFiGummy it's on both the replies, I didn't receive notification that you had replied . At the moment we need to make sure we Tag if we want whoever we're replying to, to know they've received a comment.

I just found one more way that comments can be hidden in the support posts, if a post has been marked as answer accepted, the comments show answers accepted instead of all replies. You have to change it to all replies. I hope they are making it so we can customize our settings instead of constantly having to change the default. One more thing to watch out for when trying to find the unread comment.

Still having the same problem. I can’t pinpoint one specific notification because it has happened on this thread. Pet Rescue, Farm Heroes , Candy Crush Solitaire.

Basically it’s random and I am so sick of it.

Also I haven’t had any emails from people mentioning me or notifications . If I do get one there about 2 days old☹️🤕

Hi @BQN537 let's hope this update gets updated sooner rather than later, it's not very friendly is it. I'm going to try staying away from the Reply option as it stops the flow of the thread plus it doesn't send a notification. I also didn't get a notification that you had replied to me, only saw it while having another practice and checking what is being said. So it appears tagging is necessary on everything 🙄

Heyo! For the translations, there will be a solution coming, so this will not be permanent. Once it's in place, we'll let everyone know.

As for finding your comments, I recommend checking the notification settings in the profile to see if things are as you want them. Overall there will definitely be some time to get used to this - and we appriciate all the feedback coming in!

Hey there, are you still having this issue? When we switched over we had a few bugs and threads going a bit here and there - but we have managed to fix a bunch of things now so I hope that this is no longer the case for you.

Edit: It would be great to know what thread it is (even if you just have the name) so we can check it, if it still happens!

@CommunityTeam this new system is horrible. It is harder to navigate. It is harder to find responses. I can't find comments that I posted. I don't feel this system makes the community friendlier nor do I feel it will help new members participate. The removal of the translation tab is isolating the non English speaking members.

Things worked fine before.

I also reply to people and I'm not sure they ever get notified that I sent them a question. It all feels very disconnected which is frustrating

I created a guide (How to find your way around the community) this morning. I did this years ago when we first came to this community. Now that each game has their own home page again, and I saw the posts about being frustrated I decided that it was time to create a new guide. I have to recheck it and then I'll post it.

All I can suggest is tag @QueenB . What else can we do?????

I'm not an expert yet with this new system @BQN537 but I do keep practicing. It's still the same as before though, we still have to click on which game we want to look at, comment in first, and that would be the one your post appears in, wouldn't it.

As with editing, that hasn't changed for me, it's still clicking on the 3 dots top right hand side of post. Are you finding yours different?

Also since this new update I keep on getting this ⬇️ when people mention me or click on a notification about a thread that I have commented on.It doesn’t matter what game it is.

I was wondering 🤔 if you could post a how to guide for dummies so to speak.

I have no idea what is going on.

I have tried posting comments in the forum and I can’t figure out how to edit a post and even if the post has gone through to the appropriate forum/game. I find it one big headache 🤕

It’s really doing my head in. I really miss the old version it was so much easier and quicker for everything.
