If there is a fix, he would be very happy. Both our iPads have the latest software update and our game is also updated regularly. He has an iPhone 10, which is also updated, and it does the same thing on the phone. He cannot reset the board on the level without getting the message that he will loose his “ bot « 

Thanks for your reply. He and I both have tried resetting the board before any moves are made. We have tried many times, but every time we do that there is a message saying “ do you want to end the game”. If you say yes, then the bot is lost. This is odd, because that does not happen to me on my iPad.

He has now completed the section that has 1476 in it. Now this level shows as a candy level. There is a "C" showing on the little pie ( or whatever it is called) for that level, and it provides the candies that fall into the jar - maybe that's what you call sugar drops (?). I'm sorry if you think I was rude. That was not my intention. I just don't understand what it is that you don't understand and I can't think of another way to explain.

What don't you understand. Some levels give you candies and some don't. If you collect 180 candies, you get extra boosters, so every day, you try to collect them by playing levels that give candies.
