@Tikkirah Sweet Cinema has been in my events for months and it has never ever worked, no matter how many times I’ve tried to open it. It’s not you, it’s just another bug in the game.

The change is ridiculous. No real way to win gold bars anymore. In my race 1st place is 20, 2nd is 5, then 1 gold bar for 3rd, 4th & 5th. Mine is behaving strangely. Normally I get to play the old box in between the “upgraded” one but it went straight to the first level of the new one instead. And once I completed these tasks & got my 2 hammers & colour bombs, it’s now on a timer until tomorrow for the next level. Normally the silver one opens right away.

I don’t think it’s sweet or fun, it’s just way too hard. Like most of these events I find you have to use boosters or gold to reach the goal for a reward that just isn’t worth it. Five levels in a row on the first try is impossible without paying to play. And I get called a puny human every time I lose. 😐

@sylk42021 there are some levels where for various reasons you don’t get to select boosters to start the level. It’s the same in my game, 4597 has no starting boosters available.

I agree. Visual effects don’t normally bother me but this new flashing is excessive and really hard to look at.

I thought the same thing as @MiladyR. My weekly race disappeared a while ago - weeks? months? I’m not sure how long. When it reappeared I was at 278 levels, which obviously is not my total for this week. I figured it was a cumulative total of all the levels I had passed since it disappeared.

Why is it twice the size of the Play button? They’re not even trying to disguise this blatant cash grab.

@Alienscar I enjoyed your summary. It makes so many issues clear. I wish we could have just a few events/features that all work rather than a whole bunch that have problems. That and a level field where everyone gets to enjoy the same features. That work properly. 🙂 Merry Christmas to you too!

Have to agree with some of the comments here, totally underwhelmed by the Advent Calendar event. Apart from the first day it’s been nothing but ridiculous challenges that aren’t worth the rewards. I thought Advent Calendars were about sharing & giving. Not happening here.

So you complete a bunch of time-limited quests, and in return you get... a banner across your avatar? Please don’t tell me this is a replacement for the Master Trophies which have disappeared for so many? At least you could earn a practical reward with those.

My trophies disappeared too, what a shame they removed something from the game that players actually worked at to achieve. My chocolate box disappeared yesterday, but this afternoon it came back, along with the win streak necklace, which had been gone for a couple of weeks. Maybe it was some kind of tech issue.

@Deryck I’m on an iphone too. It would be nice to be in a test group that gets to try a feature, instead of going without. 🙂 And that’s what I was referring to, just got the name wrong - I don’t have the new Treat Machine in my game.
