Well that's very odd, the game updated on my phone this afternoon and the UFOs are random again, 

I should have been more specific, I play on facebook on a laptop and it's variable placement on there.

You can't, apparently the saved boosters are device specific. The usual advice from King is to play down your boosters and lives before changing.

Same here, I've just passed it this afternoon on Facebook, I'll try 852 on facebook too if that fails, thanks for the tip.

I got another update today and am happy to report the flickering has stopped

I have a vodaphone 975 running jellybean. As Candy Crush automatically updateded last night I assume it is the latest version, 1.57.0.3. I have tried turning it off and on again and it made no difference.

It's completely rubbish and happens to me about twice a week, today I'd just won 3 hand switches put my phone down to make a cup of tea and when I came back the game had disappeared and when I reloaded it bang all boosters gone again. The only thing you can do is swear a lot about what dreadful software king write and wait…

Except that only works on purchased boosters, most of the boosters I've lost, 3 times now, are won through sugar drop or the wheel spin, it is ridiculous that the game keeps crashing and these keep disappearing and cannot be retrieved. King's response seems to be hey ho when I've contacted them.

I logged a call through the contact page and they have taken some information from me, they know of the issue and are working on a solution

I have started having the same problem this afternoon too, on my phone. The only way to get the game back is to restart my phone then I can collect more drops but the prize still doesn't release and the game freezes. Oh and I don't know why this is marked as solved, it's obviously not
