The glitch has been fixed on my device, it appears it started working at noon EST. Hoping it gets fixed for all of you as well. I did lose a lot of boosters and coins, but it doesn't appear I'll get those back.

been stuck on it all day, used gold coins and just realized it too. Frustrating.
