I’ve won the jackpot one time in the many years I’ve been playing. The longer you play, the more obvious it is that the game is completely rigged against the player.

If King was smart, they would bring back the in-app ads and have players watch an ad to reset the board. They would still make money and they wouldn’t be ruining the games of their most dedicated players. Instead they decided to steamroll right over their loyal players with the hopes that new players are dumb enough to pay…

Since King clearly isn’t going to change it back, I’d love to hear what other games people are playing. I think it’s time we start looking for alternative games that don’t put money in King’s pockets. 

I’m now playing exactly how King probably doesn't want me to play... I play a level with no boosters until my 5 lives are up and then log off. No sense in buying boosters if I can’t choose my board. I’ll keep playing. But this completely changes my game habit and certainly breaks my addiction! So, I guess I can say…

King is breaking my candy crush addiction faster than any therapist can. They’ve sucked the fun out of the game so much that I just don’t feel like playing anymore. So, they can keep their new changes. They’ve just lost a player. Not out of protest. Out of boredom. 

I’ve been playing for years and I’ve never hit it once. It’s a joke. 

The irony is that King thinks we will spend more money on this stupid change when in reality, it makes the boosters useless. If I can’t decide where my booster gets played, then why would I bother playing them at all? I was using boosters all the time before this change. Now I don’t even touch them. 

I am quitting the game too. Not out of protest, but because you’ve now taken away part of what makes the game fun. I’m on level 4486 and I’ve been playing for years, but these new changes (along with losing your bots when you leave a game) just make it impossible to advance. It’s no longer enjoyable.
