I've been having the same problem. I've tried the game in Chrome and Firefox. I will not use Edge, every time I do that, my Windows 10 app gets messed up. I've taken the steps they recommend, clear the cache, close all other tabs, make sure the browsers are up to date. Game is absolutely unplayable.
