If you have a Facebook and a PC, you can also get around this issue by playing the level on the PC, since the issue doesnt apply to the PC version. Once you have completed the level, you can go back to your mobile device.

I'm having the same problem. i have never had this happen to me before in a level. im sure its a bug issue with the update. we should all contact their support
