Actually my questions were answered quickly by a person in the community, then by support. I followed all the steps according to their instructions to get the game to load, but nothing worked. I needed to delete and reinstall the app which placed me at level 1. Before I deleted the app, I confirmed with support if they could restore my level and they did.
