How come i can not get past level 224 even after i pop all the gum?

Ok, so 2 times now i have cleared the board of all the gum on level 224, but it says i still have gum left.  How can this be fixed?  Is it a glitch?  What do i do, stop playing the game?  I play this on my tablet and on my laptop and always with connected to facebook.
