Soda Crashes Before Loading on Galaxy S5

Recently, whenever I try to open the candy crush soda app, it displays the king intro screen for a second or two and then dumps me back into my android desktop. I've got the Samsung galaxy s5 running Android lollipop.
I've updated 3x. Haven't tried reinstalling because I'm concerned about losing progress.

Try closing all other running apps before starting the game. Easiest way is to start the task manager, go to running apps and close down any apps you're not using.
