Can't get to level 46

I can't get to level 46 because I have to ask friends for help. Which isn't a normally a problem but it only brings up 5 people I can ask and they aren't game players. I tried to purchase but it keeps saying purchase failed. If I can't get to level 46 soon, I will just stop playing all together.
