Check mark covering bottom right square of game

when in landscape mode on my iPad Air 2, a check mark covers the bottom right hand square of the board.  I think it is check mark indicating I'm connected to Facebook.  This mark is not there in portrait mode. Can you fix this, it just started doing this today, I just received this new iPad today.  First I've noticed this problem

I figured out what is happening, Sometimes I get disconnected from facebook, when the game reconnects the check mark indicating that it is trying to connect never disappears.  This is an intermittent problem it does not occur every time.  Also, if it is portrait mode when it connects (when the check remains), it is missing in landscape, and vice versa.  It is only a problem when the connection takes place in landscape as the check covers the lower right hand game piece, you can access the game piece just not able to see it.
