Cannot connect to the shop despite being connected to FB I have also lost all my daily gifts

I cannot connect to the shop it just keeps saying contacting all the time. I have also lost all my daily gifts and free time lives since the last update. I am connected to FB but it makes no difference. Kindle Fire HD

Have already tried that, I think since the update my Kindle Fire HD is no longer supported, there are no software updates available for my device 2nd generation. Thanks for replying though
